Terms and Conditions of Use for “Quicko”

1. Definitions

  • Provider: QUICKO APP PORTAL, the owner and operator of the “Quicko” mobile application, licensed under Trade License No. 1516666 issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

  • Application: The “Quicko” mobile application, which connects Customers with delivery service providers (companies or independent couriers).

  • Customer: Any natural or legal person using the Application to request delivery services.

  • Courier: Any company or independent individual registered on the Application to provide delivery services.

  • Services: The facilitation and coordination between Customers and Couriers for the delivery of small parcels, documents, and other legally permitted items.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering on, or placing any order through the Application, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. Registration and User Data

  • All users (Customers and Couriers) must create a personal account with accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted under their account.

4. Nature of Relationship

  • The Application operates solely as an electronic intermediary and does not perform deliveries itself.

  • Delivery service providers (Couriers) act as independent contractors and are solely responsible for fulfilling delivery requests.

5. Pricing and Payments

  • Prices will be displayed within the Application either as estimates or final amounts before the order is confirmed.

  • Customers must pay the applicable fees using the available payment methods within the Application.

6. Responsibilities

  • Customers must not request the delivery of prohibited or illegal items under applicable laws.

  • Couriers must fulfill delivery requests professionally and adhere to agreed delivery timelines.

  • The Provider shall not be held liable for delays or damages caused by the Courier or due to circumstances beyond the Provider’s control.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Application are owned by QUICKO APP PORTAL. No content from the Application may be copied, used, or reproduced without prior written consent.

8. Amendments to Terms

QUICKO APP PORTAL reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Application after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising hereunder.
